How we calculate value

NextDyne Dynasty Value Score is our board — not a scraped ranking site and not a crowdsourced poll. Recent production through 2025; Engine Projections add a 2026 look so you aren’t pricing everyone like last year never ended.

Production

Recent seasons count more (last year half the weight, then 30%/20%). We use per-game averages and discount seasons with barely any games — then normalize by position.

Age & position curve

RBs age first. WR/TE hold longer. QBs last the longest. Same curves every owner in the league sees — no hidden “your guy” bump.

Draft capital

Where they were drafted in the NFL still matters — especially for rookies who haven’t produced yet.

Engine Projections

A 2026 half-PPR outlook baked into Value Score — heavier for young players, lighter for settled vets. Not a separate rankings product.

Picks use the same 0–10,000 scale: this year’s picks highest, future years discounted, early/mid/late inside each round. Superflex / TE Premium are format bumps (QB +18%, TE +6%). Dynasty-only at launch — Standard and Keeper aren’t on this tool yet.

FAQ

What is NextDyne Dynasty Value Score?
It’s NextDyne’s 0–10,000 scale for dynasty assets — one number for players and picks so you can compare a vet, a rookie, and a future 2nd without switching boards. The score uses recent production through 2025, age curves, draft capital, and a 2026 outlook from Engine Projections. Superflex and TE Premium nudges sit on top when you flip those toggles.
What are NextDyne Engine Projections?
A 2026 half-PPR outlook NextDyne builds from roles, age, draft capital, and recent production — then folds into Value Score so the board isn’t stuck looking only backward. Not crowdsourced rankings, not a third-party feed, and not a separate “projections” homepage.
What do Superflex and TE Premium do?
They rebuild the board for your format: Superflex bumps QBs (+18%); TE Premium bumps TEs (+6%). Both start off for a normal 1QB / non-TEP league. Whatever you pick sticks in the share URL.
Can I trade players for draft picks?
Yes. Current and future rookie picks sit on the same scale as players — early / mid / late in each round, with future years discounted. Drop a 2027 1st next to a WR and you’ll see the gap in plain English.
Why doesn’t the calculator say fair or unfair?
Because dynasty isn’t redraft math. A contender and a rebuilder can both like the same deal. We show who’s ahead and roughly what it takes to even it out — you decide if the roster need makes it worth it.
Do I need an account to use the calculator?
No — it’s free. Join the founding waitlist if you want save/share links ready for league chat, or start a league when you’re ready to run this board for real.
